Delta Reign prerelease in the Philippines: Build & Battle events from late October to November 5

The Delta Reign prerelease is officially coming to the Philippines. Pokémon TCG Asia’s Philippine site has announced a Build & Battle Box Pre-Release Event for Pokémon Trading Card Game: Mega Evolution—Delta Reign, running from late October 2026 until Thursday, November 5, 2026 at participating stores.

Entry	Buy one Build & Battle Box from the store
Format	Limited, 40-card decks, 4 Prize cards

Deckbuilding	30 minutes, using your Build & Battle Box
Energy	Provided by the store
Prize	One Present Pack (3 single cards) and 3 Delta Reign booster packs

How the PH Delta Reign prerelease works

There’s no separate entry fee: you buy one Build & Battle Box from the store, and that’s your ticket in. You then have 30 minutes to build a 40-card deck from the box, and the store supplies the Energy. Matches use four Prize cards instead of six, are best of one, and run as Swiss rounds, with the number of rounds set by how many people show up.

Every player gets the same participation prize at the end of the tournament: a Present Pack with three single cards, plus three Delta Reign booster packs. Pokémon Asia hasn’t published the box’s local price, so check with the store.

For what’s inside the English Build & Battle Box, including the four possible foil promos (Masquerain, Magmortar, Enamorus and Kommo-o) and how to build around each one, see our Delta Reign release date and prerelease guide.

Which stores are hosting, and when?

Pokémon Asia says the full event details will appear in its Event Search “soon”, and asks players to contact the listed stores directly with questions. Update: the events are now listed: 43 events at 25 stores from October 23 to November 4, most with a ₱2,000 fee. See our Delta Reign prerelease schedule for every region, the seats and the registration deadlines. They’re also on our PH event calendar with dates, times and capacity. Ask your local GYM whether it’s hosting, and find one near you in our store directory.

What it means for players in the Philippines

The event period ends on November 5, the day before Delta Reign’s November 6 English release. That mirrors the last set: for Mega Evolution—Pitch Black, the PH prerelease period ended the day before the set’s Philippine release. Pokémon Asia hasn’t announced a Philippine release date or price for Delta Reign yet, so don’t treat November 6 as the local date until it’s confirmed.

If you’re also playing the Ultra Ball League, note that its November 7 and 8 stops come right after the prerelease window closes. A prerelease is also one of the friendliest ways for newer players to try organized play: decks are small, games are quick, and every player walks away with packs.
