Pokémon Team Masters 2027 heads to Seoul, with an invite for the Philippines' top LP player
Pokémon Team Masters 2027, a new 3v3 TCG team event, hits Seoul Jan 23–24, 2027. The Philippines' No. 1 LP player gets an invite plus a Travel Award.

Pokémon is launching a new kind of tournament: Pokémon Team Masters, where teams of three play teams of three. The first edition is a Pokémon TCG event in Seoul, South Korea on January 23–24, 2027, and one player from the Philippines is already invited, with a Travel Award covering them and two teammates of their choice.
Pokémon Asia’s Philippine site and the official Japanese site announced it on September 28, 2026. Team applications close on October 23.

Who gets the Philippines invite
One player: whoever finished No. 1 in the Philippines 2025–26 Series LP Ranking, counting League Points across all age divisions combined. It isn’t one invite per division.
That player picks two teammates, and the Travel Award covers all three. The Pokémon Company will contact the player through the email address on their player account, with Travel Award details to follow. If you might be at the top of the rankings, check that your account email is current and watch your inbox.
How everyone else can go
Every other team goes through the application window, which is open now and closes October 23. Pokémon Asia’s post links to the official Team Masters website for the full rules and the application form. Neither announcement explains how applying teams are selected or which regions can apply, so read the official rules carefully before you commit your squad to a Seoul trip.
Why it’s a big deal here
Almost all competitive Pokémon TCG is played solo. Team Masters rewards something the Philippine scene already has plenty of: groups of friends who test together every week. It’s also held in Asia, a far shorter trip from Manila than a US Regional.
